Arsenal & Manchester United have been handed a massive transfer boost after Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann refused to rule out a summer move.

The Premier League duo have been linked with the French star in recent weeks, with talk of a January swoop populating gossip columns on an almost daily basis.

Griezmann has developed into one of European football’s most exciting wide-men in the north of Spain, where he helped Sociedad secure a shock top four finish in La Liga last term.

He has continued to perform well this season, but with qualification for next year’s top continental club competition unlikely, he could be on the move.

Griezmann says that he wants to stay put for the remainder of the campaign, but that a move in six months’ time may appeal to him:

“I am happy at Real Sociedad, I’m very relaxed about the situation.” He is quoted by the Daily Star.

“I want to finish the year here, and then we’ll see.

“The team is working well and it’s important we try and get back into European competition next season.”

Chelsea have also been linked with the 22-year-old, but a raid appears unlikely following Mohamed Salah’s arrival.
