Arsenal's Jack WilshereArsenal have been buoyed by Jack Wilshere’s return to action, with the star now looking set for the start of the season, the MailOnline reports.

The England midfielder played the last 25 minutes in the Gunners‘ 7-1 victory against a Vietnam XI, giving him a good chance of playing a part against Aston Villa on 17th August.

Following the run out, manager Arsene Wenger said: “I think he has a good chance for Villa.

“He is not short power-wise because he’s done a lot of work on that front.

“He is short cardiovascular fitness, a little bit. That’s why we try to give him 20 minutes, after that 45 and after, hopefully, an hour and we’ll have to see how he responds.”

Wenger also seemed to suggest that if Cesc Fabregas was willing to leave Barcelona, that Arsenal would not be hesitant in activating their buy-back clause.

“We have the clause in the contract so we would be on alert. At the moment, Fabregas has decided to stay one more year at Barcelona.

“Unless he has changed his mind, I don’t know but that’s what I’ve been told.”

Fabregas was still at Arsenal when Wilshere made his breakthrough into the first-team.

They are known admirers of each other’s ability, with Fabregas having claimed that Wilshere could have replaced him as the youngest Arsenal captain when he left for Barcelona in 2011.

English players are not too football ambitious especially those at arsenal, they have potential, that’s all, Teo has not much to his game, he will spend not score ten goals this season, all they play for is big enough contact and use the media to get on the national team and on newspaper cover.
