Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Ivory Coast right-back Serge Aurier ahead of an £8m move, according reports from the Daily Star.

The Gunners have made the Toulouse ace their top target to replace Bacary Sagna, with the Frenchman having sealed a Bosman move to Manchester City after failing to agree a new contract in north London.

Aurier has been one of his nation’s stars at the World Cup and is expected to leave Ligue 1 after the tournament finishes.

It is understood that Arsenal are very close to finalising a move, with a deal between the player and the club having been settled.

A fee is yet to be agreed with Toulouse, but the French club are rumoured to be aware that they will be unable to hold onto their man.

An opening offer of £8m is said to be on the table, yet it is unclear as to whether or not it will be accepted.

Aurier’s potential Arsenal deal will be worth around £60,000-per-week.

Liverpool and QPR have also been linked with him.
