Tottenham has given the squad a sense of belief.

The Polish international made his first appearance in over two months during the 5-2 win, after recovering from an ankle injury.

He believes that the nervousness of the club’s recent fixtures has now been replaced with optimism ahead of their Champions League clash with Montpellier:

“We have had a couple of poor results recently, but we’re back on track.” He told the official Arsenal website.

“I know that the fans might have been frustrated over the last few weeks and we understand that completely, but we are buzzing now.

“I think the team and the fans work as a unit, and they were fantastic, they helped us to get a boost before the game and helped keep us going. The fans deserve a lot of credit for the result as well. We’re certainly hoping that they can keep it the same and help us to win all the fixtures coming up.

“We can’t wait to play our next game against Montpellier. We want to make sure we do the job properly and qualify.”

The Gunners occupy second position in Group B and know that victory against the French champions will greatly boost their chances of reaching the knockout stage of the tournament.
