Arsenal have been told to pay £20m if they want a seal a summer deal for Swansea forward Wilfried Bony, according to reports from the Sunday People.

The Swans star has been in excellent form during his first season in the Premier League – netting 15 goals – which has attracted admiring glances from some of the division’s big boys.

Arsenal are one of the sides to have been linked with the Ivorian, as Arsene Wenger plots to bolster his attack.

Bony has already hinted that he’s ready to leave the Liberty Stadium for a side playing in Europe, which is a guarantee at the Emirates Stadium after the Gunners sealed Champions League qualification courtesy of Everton’s loss to Manchester City yesterday.

Swansea only paid £12m for the man dubbed the ‘new Didier Drogba’ under 12 months ago, and are not willing to discuss a deal for his services for anything less than almost double that figure.

Bony would likely be tempted by a switch to Arsenal, while Everton are also keen as they plan for life without Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku.
