Manchester United striker, Robin Van PersieArsenal manager Arsene Wenger fears that former striker Robin van Persie will make a goal scoring return when Arsenal travel to Manchester United in November, according to The Sun.

Van Persie joined the Red Devils for £24 million last month and has scored four goals in his first four games for the Old Trafford club. Wenger admitted that he wishes van Persie wouldn’t have to face his former side, “I’d have preferred him to go to a foreign club, so that he doesn’t haunt us.”

The Gunners boss also revealed that he doesn’t like to watch van Persie play in the red of United, “You have to accept it, its part of life. Obviously, it hurts to see him in another shirt.” Wenger was also full of adulation for the 29-year-old, “Every move he makes, every gesture, he tries to do it to perfection.” Van Persie, who scored 96 times in 194 appearances for the north London club, will have to wait until the 27th April until he can make a return to the Emirates Stadium.

The striker is expected to be fully recovered for Manchester United’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday. The Dutchman wasn’t risk following a thigh injury picked up in Holland’s 4-1 over Hungary last week.

Fool. Wenger didn’t choose to sell Van Persie. Van Persie chose to leave and insisted on leaving at the time he did. Arsenal only cashed in rather than allow him to go for free.

        RealGoon,
I’m sure you’d spit if usain bolt walks by. There’s a thin line between being racist and being an idiot. You’ve destroyed that line literally. Arsenal would not be the club it is today if it had only supporters from North London. Where are you from, Numb skull?
