Maher has only been linked with a move to Emirates when his manager at Alkmaar said it would be the best move for the kid. And now it turns out the kid doesn’t share that emotion. Just how is this a “blow” to Arsenal’s plans I cannot fathom, anymore than the idea Maher is/was Arsenal’s “transfer target.”
