Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has blasted constant speculation surrounding talented youngster Wilfried Zaha ahead of the January transfer window.

Zaha has been heavily linked with a move to his boyhood club Arsenal in the New Year, but Palace are adamant that they will hold on to their star man unless the exaggerated price tag is met in January.

Reports suggested that the Eagles want around £20million for the newly capped England international, so it seems they will hang on to the 20 year old for now and with Palace boasting a great chance of promotion, the player may want to stay anyway.

Holloway is unhappy that every press conference he is involved in is focused solely on Zaha and not the rest of his impressive side that are flying high in the Championship.

Holloway welcomed his former club Blackpool to Selhurst Park today, but before the game he put journlalists in their place with his feeling surrounding Zaha.

“I’m fed up talking about Wilf. We have some great players here,” Holloway told Sky Sports.

“Why not talk about Andre Moritz or Mile Jedinak or Yannick Bolasie.

“Wilf’s our player, he’s on a four and half year contract and it would take a lot more than one player to de-rail us.

“We have many good players. It’s all because he was called up by England lately.

“I thought it was unprofessional of Arsenal  to mention Zaha.

“I like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He would help our promotion push. And what about Theo Walcott, he’s out of contract at the end of this season. I bet you wouldn’t start the speculation that way around.”

Dont worry Ollie – most fans find the speculation boring.
Wilf will still be at Selhurst after January.
