In the tunnel of the Emirates on Wednesday night, the young mascots could not contain their excitement as their heroes marched alongside them.

To add to the excitement of the young UEFA representatives, Arsenal skipper Per Mertesacker offered a high-five to one of the youngsters, only for the German’s sheer power to send shockwaves down the arm of the child.

Do the mascots need to get to the gym and man-up, or was the Arsenal captain’s strength merely too emphatic to handle?
