Despite conceding six at Manchester City on the weekend, Arsenal are still in a good position at the top of the Premier League table. Of course that is likely to change in the coming days, if only temporarily, but in terms of the long haul, Arsenal can still consider themselves in a very good position to capture the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.

Arsene Wenger knows he’ll have to strengthen and take action in January. Despite the club’s financial strength, Wenger failed to bring in necessary reinforcements during the summer, notably in defence and at centre-forward.
