It’s important that the club add another player of quality to the attack. If Theo Walcott is to remain in the central position, then another wide player is needed. If not, then a player of David Villa’s calibre should be the target. It’s about goals more than anything, where the club have struggled on occasion to hit the back of the net or even make threatening movements in the final third. Olivier Giroud has done well for the most part, but many still remain unconvinced of the Frenchman’s worth in the Arsenal attack. Regardless, without Robin van Persie’s goals, there is still a void that needs to be filled via purchases in the transfer market.
