Francis Coquelin has been somewhat overshadowed at the Emirates considering their constant conveyor belt of strong youth talent the club seems to produce on a regular basis.
But the 21-year-old has now racked up twenty league appearances since joining the Gunners in 2008, and in the meantime had a successful season on loan to Ligue 1 side FC Lorient.
Coquelin is a versatile player, whom predominantly plays in holding midfield or at right back, which is arguably why he’s become a regular on the Arsenal bench this season.
But with the likes of Tomas Rosicky moving further and further away from first team football and Aaron Ramsey being rather unimpressive this campaign, Coquelin has every chance of working his way into the Arsenal Starting XI next season should he produce the goods when given the opportunity to.
