In many ways, David Moyes is the ideal candidate to take over from Arsene Wenger.
He’s relatively young, determined and passionate, but his ability to deal with tough financial situations is what will impress the Arsenal board the most.
The Everton boss has been operating in the transfer marker on a shoe-string for his entire Toffees career, and his ability to find the right player for the right price is second to none in the Premier League.
Moyes however comes with his drawbacks. He’s untested at Champions League level, and his style of football is rather adverse to the Gunners’ passing mentality.
On the other hand, should he become the new Arsenal boss, there’s a good chance he can convince Everton star Marouane Fellaini to come with him, who would certainly address some of the problems in the Arsenal midfield.
