English football fans would love the return of The Special One to the Premier League, and Jose Mourinho is currently the favourite with the bookies to take over from Arsene Wenger this summer.
The Portuguese manager’s Real Madrid career is all but over, and he’s already been hinting at appointments in England as well as France, suggesting he is at least interested in taking over at the Emirates.
With 20 trophies to his name, Mourinho is by far the most qualified and decorated manager on this list. The Arsenal fans would love his slightly arrogant demeanor, and he could certainly overcome the divide created by the Black Scarf movement.
But Mourinho likes money, and the Gunners board have a knack of being reluctant to spend big.
If Mourinho got his way in terms of transfers however, he’d undoubtedly be a great fit at the Emirates and would quickly improve a side that has been faltering to say the least this season.
