Arsenal football club were once home to “The Invincibles”, a team of superstars who went undefeated for over a season in the Premier League, and were formidable opponents to any team in the world. Fast forward about ten years however and the Gunners are a trophyless club in the wilderness, who appear to be poles apart from the likes of old rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and new Premiership big boys Manchester City.

Where it all went wrong is hard to say, but it is clear that changes to be made at the Emirates if they are ever going to return to past glories. Some fans have called for Arsene Wenger to step down, others want a big signing and a few day dreamers believe that all they need to do is loan Thierry Henry for another half a season and they’ll be back on track.

Well here’s my interpretation of events, and my views on how Arsenal need to improve if they’re going to become title challengers once again.
