Wenger has forgotten that is was Graham’s famous back four that provided the foundation for him to build his winning teams. Adams and Co. brought the experience and wisdom to impart on Wenger’s new foreign imports. Where are those kinds of players now? Sure we’ve bought “experienced” players like Poldi and Cazorla but they’ve never played in the EPL till this year. We need experienced players who have not only won things but also understand the local culture and integrate the new players in to the Arsenal way of life. United and Chelsea have their Giggs and Lampards to do this. We have nobody and that’s why we have no loyalty and no trophies.

Vierra is not the type of person to be brought to Arsenal. He has no loyalty in him. Remember what he did to Juventus. He is after the highest bidder and he was instrumental to Nasri and Clichy leaving Arsenal for City. Tony Adams and Berkamps are not better either. You don’t criticize the one you love on the pages of newspapers. Tony Adams went bunker when Bould was preferred against him even when he failed woefully in the club he managed. Out of the immediate past legends, only Henry fits the bill. We have never heard him criticizing the team publicly, that does not imply that he might no have been passing his advice to the manager. This is what loyalty is all about and this is what Arsenal needs.

We are now at the mercy of a lot of Mercenaries and an outdated manager who has not only lost his footballing nous but also his marbles.
