Anyway, I’m at neither end of the spectrum of opinion here (Wenger to go or blind loyal support of Wenger). Any Arsenal fan is entitled to their view, whatever it is but I do deplore how some Arsenal fans are putting their opinions forward; fighting amongst ourselves, often using using insults and abuse. Not the way to go in my view.

On balance I am for Wenger. I do believe that he has had his hands tied for some time. I know some wont agree with that view. When we went into putting the Emirates in place I thought it would be a 10 year plan and we would struggle to even qualify for the Champions league. We’re coming to the end of that period now and I’m expecting things to change and evolve, for the better obviously. Of course Wenger has made mistakes but on balance I think he has done a good job keeping us in the top 4 and lets not forget we really should have won the league twice in this period.

As for his press conferences; he just isn’t going to come out and rip into the team in public (rightly so) and he isn’t going to give the game away about transfer targets (again rightly so) but he and Arsenal must realise the frustration that is building up in certain areas of our support and at times his press conferences don’t allow for that. It needs to be managed better. It would help if Steve Bould, Liam Brady or somebody else had a say from time to time.

You, and fans like you, have not a clue what it takes to run/manage a football club. You simply dont have the patience, or loyalty.
