Arsenal succumbed to a disappointing 6-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea this weekend, making Arsene Wenger’s 1,000th game celebrations a disaster.

And the club has reacted to the humiliating defeat by imposing a media blackout ahead of their home game v Swansea on Tuesday night.

The Arsenal manager failed to show up to his post-match press conference after the humiliating defeat to the Blues and he also canceled the pre-match conference Tuesday’s game.

In addition to this, no Arsenal player has posted anything on their Twitter accounts since the loss and the official Arsenal Twitter account has also been in complete silence.

Rumours are increasingly suggesting that the reason for the blackout is because Wenger is preparing to announce his retirement following such a devestating result on what was supposed to be a celebration of his time in charge of the Gunners…
