Man United and Chelsea are both in a race to sign Hamburg star Heung-min Son in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports

The highly rated South Korean striker has scored 9 goals so far this season for the Bundesliga outfit and has been courting interest from a plethora of clubs around Europe.

Serie A giants Inter also has an interest in the star but are yet to make a formal bid, according to agent Thies Bliemeister:

“Inter Milan’s emissaries saw a couple of his matches, but so far I have not had any contact with the Italian club’s officials,” he told Interlive.

“A transfer in the next summer? He has signed a new contract with Hamburg SV extending it for one year, but there have been many offers for him as from Manchester United and Chelsea”

Whether Hamburg will be able to keep hold of versatile South Korean ace remains to be seen, but the widespread interest in his signature should ensure a possible bidding war this summer.
