Ivan says the gunners will be competitive in two/three years time. I tell you what. Teams like MU/Chelsea/MC and even top Euro teams won’t wait.They will probably try to weaken the gunners by buying the likes of Wilshire/Cavorla/Vermallen and other top players.
Red faced did it by getting RVP.The onus is on the gunners getting their act together 2012-13.First they must beat Spurs. Failure to do so would generate more questions about Wenger.

you forget to mention city have the best defense in the league,, and also how fortunate united have been with decisions, is the reason they lie in a in a superficial 1st place!!

Never mind the gunners’porous defence. Wenger will say Arsenal will win the epl by outscoring the opposition.You score two ,I will score three,etc. If that were that the case ,KK aka Kevein kegan,could have won the epl in 1996.
I still believed the defence wins games and trophes.If Chelsea did not have a good defence,they could not have won the cl.

city had the best defence last season and won the title, that may have been a contributing factor.
I would also like to point out they still currently have the best defence in the league. Only stoke can equal city in the lowest number of conceded goals

The ‘needless tinkering’ 3-5-2 won the game against Spurs.
