Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is in pole position to sign Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

Solskjaer is also poised to complete the signings of Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Matts Moller Daelhi, with both players arriving in South Wales on Sunday evening for medicals.

23-year-old midfielder Eikrem is set to join for £2million from Dutch club Herenveen, whilst Daelhi will join from Solskjaer’s former club Molde.

Eikrem was pictured in the stands watching Cardiff’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle at St James’s Park on Saturday, whilst his Herenveen teammates were on their way to Portugal for a winter training camp.

Both players were former graduates of the Manchester United academy, and Solskjaer is also now the favourite to land Zaha from the Old Trafford club.

Zaha is yet to make a Premier League start under David Moyes, after completing his £15million move from Crystal Palace.

His former club are keen to take him on loan for a second time, whilst Newcastle United have also been linked.

Whilst new arrivals look imminent, there is also set to be an outgoing, with Solskjaer set to allow striker Nicky Maynard to leave the club on loan this month, with QPR, Wigan, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest all showing an interest.
