Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says that he has no interest in prospective moves to Chelsea or Newcastle and that he’s happy to stay with Dortmund.

The Gabonese attacker has been linked with the two Premier League sides in recent times amid talk that he’s ready to call time on his spell in the Bundesliga after just one season.

Aubameyang joined BVB from Saint-Etienne last summer – amid interest from Newcastle – and has netted 14 goals in 41 outings in the yellow shirt.

This had alerted Chelsea and the Magpies, with both sides rumoured to have been willing to offer him an escape route.

However, the skilful attacker says he has no interest in leaving the Westfalenstadion, and that rumours to the contrary have been wide of the mark:

“I am under contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2018,” he is quoted by The Metro.

“I never wanted to leave and I am not out to leave the club.

“There has been no-one trying to lure me away from Dortmund. That’s a fact.

“I have heard all of the rumours, the interest from Italy and so on.

“Honestly, that is of no interest to me.”

The 25-year-oild is thought of as one of Africa’s top players and has been dubbed as his home continent’s answer to Brazilian superstar Neymar in the past.
