Premier League, by declaring that he intends to stay at Malaga.

The 20-year-old has been attracting the interest of both Chelsea and Manchester City of late, following a series of fine performances in La Liga and the Champions League.

This has led to speculation that he could be on the move this summer, with Malaga’s financial worries well documented.

However, the youngster has revealed that he has no desire to leave the club, and intends to stay to maintain his development:

“My head is here and my future is in the hands of Malaga,” he is quoted by Sky Sports via Canal Sur Radio.

However, he did admit that Malaga may be forced to sell to balance the books and that he will consider moving on to help the club:

“If the club decide to sell me because they need the money, I cannot do anything. I don’t have a say there.

“But hopefully I can stay here for many years. That is what I want. I am really enjoying it here.”

Isco joined Malaga in 2011 from domestic rivals Valencia due to a lack of first-team opportunities.

He has flourished at La Rosaleda, forcing himself into the Spanish national team, despite a wealth of talented players occupying his preferred position.
