Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has urged Zlatan Ibrahimovic to seek a move to the Premier League before the end of his career, reports the Metro.

The 32-year-old striker has played in Sweden, Holland, Italy, Spain and now France, but Mourinho reckons he cannot say his career is complete as he has never tested himself in England.

The Swede was part of the Paris St Germain side that beat Chelsea 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final, and said in the build up to the game that it would be “impossible” to make a move to England as PSG would be his last club in Europe.

But Mourinho – who managed the forward at Inter Milan – has urged him to reconsider.

“I think it’s a pity for him when he finishes his career and he played in the most important countries in the world of football, and won the most important championships in the world of football, but he didn’t play in the best league in the world and never won the best league in the world,” he said.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Ibrahimovic in the past, and Mourinho insists he would have no problem managing the Swedish superstar again.

“When people say he has a difficult personality, for me the difficult personalities are the players who don’t want to win, to work, to be the best,” said Mourinho.

“He wants to win, to work, to be the best. He has a big ego, big self-esteem, so for me to be his coach was no problem.”
