Chelsea have made their third major signing this summer as their new 21-year-old French manager, Paul Pogba, has signed none other than 21-year-old French midfielder, Paul Pogba!

Look closely and the observant ones of you will realise that isn’t a Sky Sports pre-match line-up, and in fact, Football Manager. Following France’s 5-2 demolition of Switzerland in their second World Cup group stage match, the Juventus midfielder was papped playing FM2014 as Chelsea boss, starting his virtual self alongside Chelsea legend Frank Lampard in midfield.

Pogba is one of the planet’s hottest young talents at the moment and has been subject of speculation this summer, with suggestions that he could cost buyers upwards of £60 million.

I once had Pogba at Man United on Football Manager. He sat in the reserves, and sulked off to Le Havre three years later. Let’s hope the real Paul knows best how to release his potential.
