John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are all fearful of a summer exit from Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Star.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not set to open contract talks with the English trio ‘for a few months’, according to sources close to the Russian billionaire.

That means Terry, 33, Lampard, 35, and Cole, 33, would be free to open talks with other clubs once the transfer window opens in five days time.

Turkish giants Galatasary have made it clear they are willing to offer Terry a mega-money deal, while Lampard was close to joining LA Galaxy last season before the Blues offered him a one-year extension at the last minute.

The States could also be an option for Ashley Cole, with New York Red Bulls understood to be keen on signing the England man.

Cole is perhaps the most likely to depart, having recently lost his first team place to Cesar Azpilicueta.

It looks as though all three will be made to sweat on their futures, with Abramovich and manager Jose Mourinho unlikely to make a decision until the end of the season.

All three players would be available on free transfers in the summer should they not sign a new deal.
