Fernando Torres Chelsea striker

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has finally run out of patience with striker Fernando Torres and is prepared to sell the Spaniard at a cut price in the summer, according to the Express.

The Blues are reportedly willing to let the failed forward leave Stamford Bridge for £15million in the summer, just two years after spending a record £50million on his services.

Chelsea are hoping to use the 28-year-old as part of a deal to bring Atletico Madrid striker Falcao to West London.

Torres made his name in the Spanish capital netting 91 goals for Atletico as a youngster before his move to Liverpool where he continued his fine form.

While a move back to Spain may suit the player, Russian big spenders Anzhi Makhachkala have made Torres their number one target for the summer in the hope that he could partner Samuel Eto’o in a dream team style striker force.
