The Mirror.

The Qatari bankrolled French outfit see the former Barcelona boss as the ideal man to make them a global force and are believed to be willing to offer him a financially rewarding contract.

This will come as a blow to the Premier League club’s owner Roman Abramovich, who has long been keen to bring in the man who made Barca, arguably, the finest team on the planet.

Rafael Benitez has recently been brought in to replace Roberto Di Matteo, but it’s believed that this is just a short-term solution and that Guardiola is the man the Russian wants to reawaken Chelsea.

Although the Londoners are far from weak on a financial front, PSG’s resources are on a different level and it’s believed that they could gazump any offer made by the Stamford Bridge team.

Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti has, so far, performed well in the French capital, but it’s thought that the club’s backers would jump at the opportunity to align themselves with one of the most sought after coaches in world football.

PSG are also thought to be keen on Jose Mourinho, who looks set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.

    Not going to happen.

It’s not like he’ll not get paid elsewhere.

Man. Utd or Chelsea for Pep next
