Atletico Madrid striker Radamel FalcaoChelsea target Radamel Falcao has opened the door for a switch to the Premier League.

The Colombian forward is one of the most sought after strikers in European football with an impressive ten goals in as many games so far this season.

He was prolific last term, with many suggesting he was the best player outside of Barcelona and Real Madrid in La Liga.

Chelsea are believed to be interested in the Atletico Madrid man as they look to replace £50m flop Fernando Torres.

Although he has three years remaining on his contract, Falcao has refused to rule out a switch to England:

“The opportunity of playing in a different league and for a different club will come at the right time.” He told Radio Caracol.

“I don’t stop dreaming; on the contrary, I know at some point I might want to move to a different team.

“But I still have three years of contract with Atletico Madrid and that’s the reality.”

He has also been impressive at international level and is targeting a spot at the 2014 World Cup for his home nation:

“I don’t see myself in Brazil yet, but I am aware of our good performances,

“We have good chances (of qualifying) and we have to keep doing it that way to secure qualification. We have to keep the current form to win the points we need.”

We are eagerly expecting him at Stamford Bridge! He is a good and very fantastic player. He will surely rescue Chelsea from its slumber. But we want Torres out by all means because he’s a bundle of disappointment.
