Daily Mail.

The England international is openly pursuing a stunning exit from the Premier League champions after growing disillusioned by life at Old Trafford.

A series of high profile first-team exclusions under former boss Sir Alex Ferguson are thought to have left him fuming.

Although new chief David Moyes has attempted to convince him to stay, Rooney himself is ready to move on, and could be tempted by a move to London.

Chelsea are one of the few clubs on the planet that can match the front-man’s £220,000-per-week salary, and are keen to spend big to snatch one of their rival’s big name players.

As a result, Jose Mourinho is happy to use £30m of his transfer budget to convince United to part company with their talismanic forward.

The Red Devils are thought to be willing to offer Rooney a new deal, but that may not be enough to convince him that his future remains in the North West.

Mourinho himself has made little secret of his desire to sign ‘Wazza’, suggesting that the Liverpool-born attacker is his only remaining target.

Does Wayne Rooney need a fresh start? And is Chelsea the right place for that?

Rooney will be a great signing for chelsea, and it will be the best move for him.
I can’t wait to see him in Chelsea’s colour.

If Morinio’s coming back to chelsea is a right, then Rooney’s saga will be great idea for the bleu’s.
