The 10 ‘transfer priorities’ for Chelsea this summer
Despite a great start to the season coming off the back of Champions League victory, Chelsea have slipped off the pace this season.
A drop in form has seen the Manchester duo race into the distance and even allowed Tottenham to leapfrog them to take third spot.
This was almost unthinkable a few weeks into the campaign, when the Blues were being touted as one of the favourites to battle for the Premier League title, and it could potentially get worse with Arsenal and Liverpool breathing down their neck in the race for fourth.
However, some of Chelsea’s problems can be addressed this summer in the transfer market, with a need for arrivals and departures clear to see.
