Ryan Bertrand was a Champions League hero at the end of last season, performing a vital role in the club’s surprising European run to the title.
But it appears to be a case of being the right man, in the right place at the right time, as the 23-year-old has been rather lackluster to say the least this season.
He was once hailed to be the next Ashley Cole, but as the youngster gets older it’s clear the two are miles apart in terms of ability.
Bertrand needs to be moved on before he starts looking incredibly out of place and finds himself wallowing in the Chelsea reserves.
