Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has opened the door for Wilfried Zaha to return to the club, but only if Tony Pulis wants him.

The England international left the Eagles to join Manchester United last year, but has endured a terrible 12 months at Old Trafford.

Signed under Sir Alex Ferguson, Zaha was not fancied by David Moyes who frequently overlooked him during his first-team selection.

A loan switch to Cardiff was permitted in January, but with the Bluebirds having dropped out of the Premier League a move to the south of Wales is off of the cards.

With Louis van Gaal now at the Theatre of Dreams and believed to have his eye on a number of new additions, the starlet who fired Palace to promotion in 2013 looks unlikely to have a future in the North West, and Parish says that if a deal suits the clubs and Pulis then it could be an option to get him back to Selhurst Park:

“It depends on what the new Man United manager wants but also what my manager wants,” he told the Croydon Advertiser.

“My manager has got to be convinced that it would be the right move for the player and the club.

“Tony has certainly shown enthusiasm during the season for that and knows what a fabulous player he is.

“But the circumstances for the player and the money and for everything would have to be right.”
