Billionaires are making up for their failed childhood sporting record. As a supporter, you can either hope the owner spend whatever required to win and actually Avram has won more trophies than Man U (10 v 9) since he bought the club. Or have some other edge which wins new fans without winning trophies. For years Arsenal has been balancing their books while playing exiting football with one of the youngest teams around. That won over many young fans because they could identify themselves with that and they are likely to support the team for life and making the club to grow its revenues such it can afford the best players. Recently Arsenal is playing less exiting football and is using much older players, that is bad because Arsenal has lost two out of three distinguishing features. Without trophies, the risk from here is that Arsenal’s revenue growth will fall behind other top teams. Some say Financial Fair Play will save Arsenal, but don’t expect magic from the corrupt Uefa, as big spending clubs will find loopholes.

sacking managers has worked wonders for chelsea,they have won more trophies than everyone since Abromovic came to town.compare that with arsenal who have trusted in wenger resulting in a barren 6 years.i dont see them winning anything this time again.

Sooner or later all kids get “Bored with their toys”.
A clubs fans are “The Constant” through time.
The day will come when the ordinary fan will get bored with the “Big Investors” – who are not real supporters at all – however much they “Fidget” in the directors box!
