We all remember the clip of Mike Dean shaking his head in disgust following a break down in a Manchester United attack at Old Trafford last month.

The top-flight referee was visibly annoyed at Michael Carrick’s interception that brought an end to Swansea’s advantage.

And a clip from West Ham‘s 2-0 win at Aston Villa last weekend has uncovered Dean getting annoyed again for exactly the same thing as an Aston Villa attack breaks down.

What on earth could be so annoying? Aren’t referee’s meant to be neutral parties on the football pitch, or has Dean developed a particular dislike for West Ham and Manchester United over the years?
