Everton starlet Ross Barkley produced a magnificent solo goal against Newcastle last night to aid his chances of an England call up ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.

With England manager Roy Hodgson not yet making his final selection, this goal from the Everton youngster should surely put him in contention for a national team spot.

In Everton’s 3-0 away win against Newcastle, Barkley received the ball deep in his own half before he made a solo run straight into Newcastle penalty box skipping past two oncoming defenders and lashing home past Tim Krul. Everton’s win put them in pole position to grab 5th place and earn themselves European football next season.

This is some goal from the Everton youngster…
