Chelsea parted with near £70million in the summer to bring in an illustrious list of new recruits to bolster the squad in all departments, including the likes of Willian, Marco Van Ginkel, Andre Schurrle and Samuel Eto’o.

Jose Mourinho has a Blues squad at his disposal that can claim quality and depth in every area and is more than capable of challenging for the Premier League title. But the Portuguese is reportedly still planning on tailoring his Stamford Bridge squad in January, with a select few departures and some new additions.

As always, the West Londoners are linked with a wide variety of potential transfer targets in the tabloids, but not all of them are up to Chelsea’s high standards.

With that in mind, here’s FIVE January targets reportedly on Mourinho’s radar that the Blues gaffer should avoid at all costs, because they simply wont make the grade in West London.
