Hull City boss Steve Bruce has started the mind games ahead of next months FA Cup final, claiming all the pressure is on opponents Arsenal, reports the Daily Star.

Bruce watched his Hull City come from behind to beat Sheffield United 5-3 in a thrilling semi final at Wembley yesterday, and has already looked to crack up the pressure on Arsene Wenger’s side.

Bruce said: “The pressure is all on Arsenal. They haven’t won anything for a while and that will be brought up again.

“I’m starting all the bulls*** now, aren’t I? How sad is that?

“Arsenal are a great club, with great history and tradition. They must have had 60,000 here yesterday. We’re up against it – but we’ll do our best.”

Hull found themselves 2-1 down at half time to a side 44 places below them in the league ladder yesterday.

But goals from Yannick Sagbo, Matty Fryatt, Tom Huddlestone, Stephen Quinn and David Meyler for Hull cancelled out strikes by Jose Baxter, Stefan Scougall and Jamie Murphy in what was the highest-scoring semi since 1958.

After a poor first half performance, Bruce revealed it was captain Curtis Davis who delivered the inspirational half time team talk.

“My captain did it all. It’s a long time since I’ve been in a dressing room where the captain takes over,” Bruce said.

“It used to happen a lot in my day. I just had a cup of tea and let him get on with it. There were a few tactical changes but the b*****kings came from him.”

“I have to take respossiblity for the first half. We had to do something because we were awful.”
