Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore has revealed that he would consider making his loan move to Hull a permanent one if an official offer is made.

The 24-year-old has been a key member of Steve Bruce’s newly promoted side since making the temporary switch to the KC Stadium, forming an impressive partnership with Tom Huddlestone in the centre of the pitch.

His form has prompted some to suggest that he may have a future at Tottenham, but Livermore says that he would be open to staying at Hull beyond this season.

“Tottenham seem to be coping without me so I don’t see any reason why there would be a recall,” Livermore told The Mirror.

“I’m happy here playing my football with Hull.

“If the two clubs could sort something out I’d be more than happy to look at it.

“I’ve been here long enough to know what the club and the manager are about.”

The one-time England international has already made 14 Premier League starts, and even managed to net an important goal in the Tigers’ shock 3-1 win against Liverpool.

Livermore is a product of Spurs’ youth set-up, but has struggled to make a major impact at the club, with his current loan move the seventh time he has left White Hart Lane on a temporary basis.
