A player is worth whatever a club is willing to pay him; if Wes is the only one who believes he is worth those exorbitant wages then that’s why nobody wants him. He is nearly 30, has a questionable attitude and there are players of a similar calibre who are younger and cheaper.

I think Sneijder is just a wee bit too expensive. Not by too much due to the low transfer fee but at around 230,000 euros pw before taxes it’s a tough gamble on a relatively older player. Granted he could be an RVP type addition to a premier league side, not so much with goal scoring but with creativity so it could be worth a punt…but a pricey punt.
