Liverpool and Everton target Yann M’Vila is keen on a move to the Premier League, according to his agent.

The French midfielder is currently plying his trade in Russia with Rubin Kazan – whom he joined last January from Rennes amid interested from Arsenal.

Despite having only been at his current club for 12 months, the 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move before the next transfer deadline, with both Everton and Liverpool thought to be interested.

M’Vila’s agent, Werner Baader, says that he is aware of potential suitors, and that his client is keen to switch to England:

“I think many players dream of playing in the Premier League – Yann is no different.

“I will not deny there is interest from many European clubs, including English teams.

“We will see what happens.”

Liverpool are thought to be leading the race for the robust midfielder, with rumours suggesting that M’Vila is particularly keen on a transfer to Anfield.

Speculation of a move to the red half of Merseyside was further fuelled earlier this season after picture of him among the club’s supporters during their clash with Everton circulated on the internet.

The Toffees are also watching the situation, and could move as they plot additions to keep themselves in the battle for Champions League qualification.
