Keisuke Honda’s contract at CSKA Moscow expires this summer, meaning that Liverpool could swoop to bring the Japanese playmaker in for free later this year.
The 26-year-old has been one of most sought after talents in European football for some time, with his eye for a killer pass and attacking prowess attracting admiring glances from a number of top clubs. Brendan Rodgers will have to fight off interest from AC Milan to tie up a deal, but Honda could be worth the hassle, with the increased exposure he would bring Liverpool in the far East.
