Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Sevilla winger Alberto Moreno, with the player’s representative claiming the Spanish club are prepared to listen to offers, according to talkSPORT.

The 21-year-old Spanish full back has impressed for Sevilla this season, and has reportedly attracted the attention of Real Madrid and Napoli, with the Italian giants previously failing with a January bid.

Moreno reportedly has his heart set on a switch to Real Madrid, but Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is set to launch a summer bid nonetheless, as Sevilla are unlikely to hold out for the full value of the defender’s minimum fee release clause.

Rodgers is set to move for a new full back in the summer, with Glen Johnson’s contract issues still unresolved, and concerns over the fitness of Jose Enrique who has been out of action since October.

“Yes, Napoli presented an offer in January, but it was not seen as big enough. The interest of Real Madrid? Nothing has been done and my client is concentrating on Sevilla,” Agent Javier Moya told AS.

“Sevilla are willing to negotiate, but on their conditions. I’m not saying he can only leave there for his £25m release clause fee.”
