The Mirror.

The Nigerian international completed a “dream move” from Wigan to the Blues last summer after some impressive displays for the Latics.

But, he struggled to make an impact for the Londoners, with the majority of his opportunities rationed to domestic cup and European outings due to the presence of a number of competitors within the squad.

After completing a deadline day move to Liverpool, Moses says that he is hopeful of securing regular game time after a frustrating period in his career.

“Not playing games can really damage your career,” Moses said.

“The move to Chelsea was a massive step for me. I just wanted to go there, express myself and enjoy my football. It was a dream for me – but I want to keep strong and keep working hard at what I do.

“As a young footballer coming up, I just want to play games.

“Liverpool is a massive club and I just want to enjoy my football out on the pitch and try to help my team-mates.

“It is the right opportunity for me. It’s definitely the right move – this is a massive club, with all the history.”

The 22-year-old is expected to find first-team opportunities easier to come by at Anfield, with manager Brendan Rodgers said to be a big fan of his abilities.

The pacey winger is seen as perfect for the Reds’ playing style, and is expected to link up well with former Chelsea team-mate Daniel Sturridge.
