Real Madrid are poised to make a stunning summer offer for Liverpool’s red hot striker Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Star.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will resist the temptation to make a January offer for the forward, as he does not want to disrupt his current squad.

However reports in Spain claim the nine time European cup winners hope to start negotiations with the Reds as soon as the season finishes.

Liverpool will be desperate to hang on to their prized asset in the same way they did in the summer following two official bids from Arsenal.

The Reds hope to tie Suarez down to a new deal that would make him the highest paid player in the clubs history, after an incredible start to the season.

Suarez has scored 17 Premier League goals already this season, despite missing the first five games of the season through suspension.

His price tag was set at £50million in the summer, but his form in front of goal this season is set to see his price tag soar once again.

The Reds will be sure to demand a similar fee Tottenham did for Gareth Bale in the summer should Real Madrid come calling.
