Although a lot of talk has surrounded additions to the squad, Liverpool’s young talent should not be forgotten. Andre Wisdom, Suso and, in particular, Raheem Sterling have made telling impacts on the first-team this season, picking up vital experience along the way.
With another year of maturity and development, they could be ready to play even bigger roles next season and provide a more consistent level of performance.
As well as the trio who have shone, there’s the likes of Samed Yesil, Conor Coady and Jordon Ibe knocking at the door, giving Brendan Rodgers a potential headache.
