He’s only 21 years old, and it is his first season in England, but Fabio Borini has so far shown he really doesn’t have what it takes to be a force in the Premier League.
Borini is short, slow and lacking in strength. Furthermore, he’s yet to show any particular skill or flair on the ball.
I think it’s fair to say Brendan Rodgers may have jumped the gun in paying £10million for a striker who’s had one decent season for Roma in Serie A, and once scored a few goals for Swansea.
Borini has made 15 appearances for the Reds, with just a single Europa League goal to show for his efforts.
My advice is sell him on before he’s worth naff all.
