Considering Liverpool won the Champions League title less than a decade ago, it’s amazing to think the Merseyside outfit haven’t been involved in the competition since 2010, in that time recording a succession of ordinary league standings in the Premier League that deviate sharply from the club’s prestigious history.

But managerial appointment of Brendan Rodgers appears to have been the turning point, and for the first time in four seasons, the Reds look set to record a finish in the Premier League’s top four. They currently command fourth spot, with 47 points from 27 fixtures.

Admittedly, there’s still a long way to go, but we at Football FanCast reckon the Anfield side will clinch continental qualification come May-time. Here’s SIX reasons, explaining our logic.
