It will be a busy summer at Anfield for Ian Ayre and Brendan Rodgers as the pair must decide on the future of Luis Suarez, who has revealed he wants to leave England, blaming the press for being too critical of him. It’s a huge blow for the Reds, who stuck by the Uruguayan throughout his controversial moments, including biting an opponent and racially abusing another.

It’s an issue for Liverpool on the pitch because of Suarez’s positive contributions too. Suarez scored 23 league goals this season, the club’s highest amount from a single player since Fernando Torres’ tally of 24 in the 2007-08 season. The Reds might not miss the controversy he brings to the club, but they will certainly miss his talents on the pitch.

So who can Rodgers and Ayre bring in to Anfield to replace the star forward, and help push the club closer to a place in Europe? Here are 10 possible Suarez replacements that Liverpool may look at this summer.
