Kolo Toure keen on French Switch
Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has revealed that he would be happy to move to France in January if he can’t gain first team football at the Etihad, according to The Daily Mirror.
Toure has found himself isolated in the reserves for much of this season as City boss Roberto Mancini has stuck with his heroes of last season at the back.
The Ivorian central defender has played just four times since he received a six month ban for failing a drugs test in March 2011 and it seems his time in Manchester is coming to an end.
The 31-year-old rejected a move to Turkey in the summer but it seems a short hop over to France would suit the former Arsenal man as the French league continues to grow.
Now fourth choice centre back at the Etihad, the former City skipper seems excited by the recent links with him and a move away in the upcoming January transfer window.
“Why not France? There’s PSG, Lille, and the league is getting stronger,” Toure told the Mirror.
